METHOD OF USE OF HIGH THICKENER ALICIATIC POLYURETHANE 2C

The substrate of concrete or mortar must be resistant, clean and free of defacing material as well as fats oils or any other contaminating material and free of moisture.

The surface texture should be rough and with an open pore, for this a previous treatment is recommended by sanding, milling or shot blasting.

All joints or fissures that may have movement will be treated previously. It is necessary to apply a layer of epoxy primer for sealing the surface.

The binder system is supplied in an adequate proportion of mixture, which must be done in a homogeneous and complete manner, avoiding that there are remains of product on the walls and bottom of the containers.

It is not recommended to carry out partial mixing in any case.

Mix the two components to homogenize the content of the container by stirring thoroughly for 3 min. at least at low revolutions to avoid introducing air into the product and allowing the mixture to settle for 15 minutes before applying it to the surface.

An abundant layer will be applied with roller, allowing the entire soil to be impregnated. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours but not more than 48 hours.

A well-spread second coat can be applied in the same way, allowing it to dry for at least 48 hours.

SAFETY AND HYGIENE OF ALIHATIC POLYURETHANE 2C HIGH THICKNESS

Perform good ventilation of the premises and have a good extraction system.

Use active carbon mask, safety glasses and protective gloves during application.
