If the base of the paint is white, you can achieve at most pastel tones. If you want to get stronger tones, you should use a transparent plastic paint, or a colorless base.

HOW TO USE SOLVENT DYES?

We will add the dye or dye to the solvent, to the white or colored paint. We will not exceed more than 15% of the total paint, since if we exceed this limit, we may have problems with bursts, flocculation, etc...
Due to the great diversity of resins and raw materials in the products on the market, if they are not added to the solvent in our products, it is always preferable to carry out a small compatibility test between the dyes and the paint.
 
HOW CAN I MAKE AN INTENSE COLOR WITH SOLVENT DYES?


When we add solvent dyes to a white paint to make a color, we can only get light or pastel tones, because no matter how much dye you add to white, you will never be able to get a dark tone.
