CHARACTERISTICS AND ADVANTAGES OF PAINTING FOR INTERIOR SOILS EPOXY OF 2 COMPONENTS TO WATER

This type of floor paint is characterized by not containing any type of solvents, so it is totally harmless. It does not smell, and you can use the painted area at the time of drying.

The epoxy paint 2c to water, provides finishes with excellent adhesion, great hardness and very good resistance to aggressive environments. (Do not recommend for workshops where you can pour oils, or aggressive liquids.

HOW SHOULD I USE THE EPOXY 2C PAINT TO THE WATER?

The surface to be painted must be free of dust, grease, old paint and completely dry.

The humidity of the support must be less than 20%

Do not apply below 10ºC

Mix the two components in a ratio of 1: 1 and homogenise the contents of the container, stirring thoroughly.

In new pavements it will be necessary to wait for its total setting, approximately 30 days; If the soil is not very porous, a chemical or mechanical treatment must be carried out to open and achieve better adhesion.

The application can be done with brush, roller or air-less.

The first coat will be applied by diluting the product with 20% water. for the second hand dilute no more than 10%

To achieve good adhesion between layers, do not allow more than 24 hours to elapse.

The mixture has a maximum life of 1 hour and a half.

The total hardening will not be achieved until after 7 days at temperatures not lower than 15-20ºC

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS, USING EPOXY PAINT 2C FOR FLOORS

When painting with two-component epoxy paint, you must perform good ventilation of the room and have a good extraction system.

Use active carbon mask, safety glasses and protective gloves during application.
