TWO-COMPONENT SELF-LEVEL EPOXY CHARACTERISTICS

HOW TO USE THE SELF-LEVELING EPOXY 2C

• The binder system is supplied in an adequate proportion of mixture, which must be done in a homogeneous and complete way, avoiding remaining product remains on the walls and bottom of the containers.
• The mixture with component C (mixtures of aggregates) will be carried out by slowly adding to this, the perfectly homogenized binder system in a mechanical mixer, to achieve a homogeneous and regular mass.
• The application base must be clean, dry and free of old paints, grouts and curing liquids; must have an open pore, which will be achieved by mechanical treatment (trickling or milling) or by other chemical treatments.
• The humidity of the support must be less than 4%
• Do not apply at temperatures below 10ºC
• The first layer (SOIL EPOXY PRIMER) will be applied to a roller or trowel (if mixed with aggregate) to seal the porosity of the support or to smooth it if applied as a mortar in order to favor the self-leveling adhesion.
• The next layer consists of a mixture of the Self-leveling Epoxy with aggregates in a ratio that ranges from 1: 0.8 to 1: 1.5. It is extended to a notched trowel until the necessary thickness is achieved, taking into account that the application of this mortar will be carried out before the primer has completely cured.
• Wait approximately 10 to 15 minutes and pass over the self-leveling Epxi a nylon barbed roller in order to eliminate possible bubbles and help leveling.
• The total hardening will not be achieved until after 7 days at temperatures not lower than 15-20ºC
