SOLVENT ACRYLIC POOL PAINT COMPOSITION

Pool paint formulated based on thermoplastic acrylic resin with air drying solvent.

CHARACTERISTICS AND ADVANTAGES OF THERMOPLASTIC ACRYLIC PAINT IN SOLVENT

It provides films of great hardness and resistance to abrasion, fresh water, salt water, mineral oils, pool cleaning products, acids and alkalis.

It penetrates by capillary action, making a perfect seal to the concrete, preventing the penetration of moisture, waterproofing the pool glass.

The applied films are highly flexible and absorb the contractions and expansions produced by the solar rays.

Acrylic Thermoplastic pool paint is an improved formula of chlorinated rubber pool paints, these being more modern and of better quality.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION OF SOLVENT ACRYLIC POOL PAINT

To paint and decorate, both indoors and outdoors, cement, concrete, metal pools.

METHOD OF USE OF SOLVENT THERMOPLASTIC ACRYLIC PAINT

We recommend waiting between 24 and 72 hours, after emptying the pool for a perfect drying of the pool, before painting.

 And wait again between 5 days and 1 week, after painting to refill the pool with water, for perfect results.

-Remove the material very well, the surfaces to be painted must be dry, clean and consistent.

-If the soil is not very porous, it will be necessary to carry out a chemical or mechanical treatment for the pore in April and achieve better adherence.

PAINTING NEW POOLS 

If you want to give a first coat to use as a primer, dilute the paint with approx. 20% solvent.

 Give one or two coats to homogenize texture and desired coverage (with a dilution of 5%). Masonry surfaces must be well dry in order to allow humidity and alkalinity levels to decrease as much as possible.

On concrete or new cements it will be necessary to wait for its total setting (30 days approx.)

PAINTING POOLS ALREADY PAINTED

If the surface to be painted is in good condition, remove dust, and apply one or two coats of special pool paint.

If the old surface is in poor condition, loose and poorly adhered surfaces should be removed and proceed as a new surface.
