HOW DO I HAVE TO PAINT A POOL?
Of course to say that buying a high quality paint to the pool, our priority will be also very important factor along with a proper application.
Please do not buy too cheap paint, which loses its color and its imperviousness to be implemented shortly. (They are paintings with few resins).
There are processes for coating a pool that are common regardless of the type of pool to be, and the product chosen to paint.
When repairing and painting a pool must be clear what type of product previously used, if it is already painted, as there are different types of paints and not all are compatible.
Open pore paints or water first, chlorinated rubber and acrylic or other.)
• Painting Poro open: is special for not waterproofed concrete pools or fresh plaster, as it works as curing membrane.
• Acrylic Chlorinated Rubber Paint or: is used in concrete pools, concrete, masonry, tile, even in other structures that are in high humidity environments. It is completely waterproof so prevents water loss and small cracks and prevents the formation of algae and fungi.
.
CHOOSING THE TYPE OF PAINT TO PAINT THE POOL, I will explain the difference between an acrylic paint for swimming pools, and chlorinated rubber paint for swimming pools.
Everyone knows calls chlorinated rubber paints, which have for many years used and are very successful.
Acrylic paint for swimming pools, are more modern than the chlorinated rubber, is an improved formula chlorinated rubber paints, the manufacture and use of them is identical.
If you have already applied to our pool chlorinated rubber paint, we can apply over both other chlorinated rubber paint, acrylic paint as a solvent pool.

STEPS TO PAINT A POOL
1.-clean the pool surface before painting
BEFORE
If the pool was full, you must drain and let it dry before making any repairs.
• With spatula remove loose paint. We will remove loose particles or layers of paint with a spatula.
• Mark the cracks (if exist), hitting them with the tip of the spatula. It's about letting the crack completely visible without painting.
• Pass the orbital sander or sandpaper to gently polish the walls and floor of the pool.
• The idea is to only remove loose paint and leave perfect walls for repairing cracks and repainting the pool.
CLEANING THE POOL
• With the same paint for pool to be used later, it is necessary to seal the cracks and hairless left after passing the spatula and the sander.
If cracks were more than 2mm could apply paint pool with some fiberglass , or using a bonding bridge to repair cracks in concrete.
• With a brush, sweep the bottom and walls of the pool to dust.
• Wash with hose and escobillar to get the sunscreen remains stuck last season.
Before you start painting to do a good cleaning of the surface, clean with soap and a brush.
If dirt is embedded pool and outside was very difficult to clean, you can use more powerful Descalers of dirt, they sell in the market or bleach, ammonia or Salfuman.
Then rinse the walls of the pool, a good option is to use a pressure hose or a hydro-cleaner.
2. PAINT FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS FOR USE FOR EACH TYPE OF POOL explain below.
TIPS TO PAINT ALL POOLS CORRECTLY
ALWAYS dilute the paint or varnish POOL conveniently.
In the records of the products, indicate the% of solvent and the type of solvent to be used for each type of paint.
If in doubt, check with the manufacturer, to advise us the correct% dilution of the paint.
Applying thick coats of paint or paint pools undiluted, may cause:
Which the paint is chipping or not adhere properly to the support. (Over time you can go falling pieces)
Which to apply the paint with a roller, this, produce bubbles which are then converted to dry in ampoules.
Which layers being so thick, dry surface, but do not let the solvents evaporate background layer, not dry properly. (The bottom layer is left without dry well)
Apply paint IF AT FIRST YOU CAN morning.
We recommend not paint the pool in the middle of the day, and if it can be either in the afternoon (if very hot).
If the media will paint is too hot, or to apply the paint temperature is very high, heat, may cause a fast drying paint to be very hot support and the solvent evaporated too fast. (Best to apply early in the morning)
Let the paint dry or varnish POOL, between coats, at least 6 hours or more than 24 HOURS
Always let it dry paint or varnish pool conveniently between layers from appearing blisters or bubbles.
Drying time depends on the ambient temperature and relative humidity, but we recommend, let dry until the next morning, to apply the next layer, again first thing in the morning.

Although not at all complicated to paint a pool of masonry, concrete or cement, we must take certain factors into account so that the paint is durable and maintain all its properties throughout the year.
Mainly, the advice we follow, are common to all pools have explained a little higher.
Please wait for 24 to 72 hours, after emptying the pool for perfect drying of the same, before painting.
And back to wait between 5 days to 1 week after painting to refill the pool of water, for perfect results.
-Remover Well the material surfaces to be painted must be dry, clean and consistent.
If the soil is slightly porous, it will have to make a chemical or mechanical treatment for April pore and get a better grip.
PAINT NEW POOLS
If you want to give a first hand to use as a primer, dilute the paint with approx. 20% solvent.
Give one or two hands to homogenize desired texture and cover (with a 5% dilution) masonry surfaces must be dry in order to allow moisture levels and alkalinity to decrease as possible.
On concrete or new cements will have to wait for its full setting (30 days approx.)
PAINT AND PAINTED POOLS
If the paint surface is in good condition, remove dust and apply one or two layers of special paint pools.
If the old surface is in poor condition should be removed loose and friable surfaces and proceed as a new surface.
TIPS FOR A painting or varnishing GRESITE POOLS OR TILES
The process of painting or varnishing a swimming pool tiles or tile is the same as for a pool of work, the only difference is that we have to dilute the paint or varnish in other levels of solvent for a perfect anchorage since these supports are less porous and difficult to anchor it.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE FOR SOME porous media
Please wait for 24 to 72 hours, after emptying the pool for perfect drying of the same, before painting.
And back to wait between five days and two weeks, after painting or varnishing it to refill the pool water for proper application. (The more time we can leave drying, the better)
-Remover Well the material surfaces to be painted must be dry, clean and consistent.
-The Surfaces to be painted must be free of dust, lime, grease and old and well dried paints.
-Clean While the tile of any traces of lime, so that when applying the above waterproof varnish, do not bleach and lime remains attached notice.
If the surface is not porous is recommended, with an abrasive wear it chemical or mechanical anchor for the perfect paint. (Especially in the case of ceramic tiles)
-Homogeneizar Removing the container contents thoroughly.
-The Application can be done by brush, roller
In the case of ceramic tiles, you must apply a first coat with roughly 30-35% dilution solvent, for proper anchoring. In all other media can be applied a dilution of 15%.
-The Second hand, it applies varnish extending well to avoid thick, dilute between 10% and 15% solvent layers.
-To Achieve good adhesion between coats must not let more than 24 hours elapse, pear must leave dry the layers, to avoid the appearance of bubbles or blisters.
-Let Conveniently dry before painting and before dam with water (minimum 48 hours)
.
PRECAUTIONS TO APPLY THE PAINT ACRYLIC WATERPROOF POOLS
