Transparent Fixative for Porous Substrates | Anti-carbonation
Consolidating Fixative and Transparent Primer for Porous Substrates - Anti-carbonation Protection and Sealing
Transparent primer and fixative for consolidating concrete, brick, and cement. Ideal for facades, roofs, pools, and terraces. Ready to use!
-
Before painting an old brick facade.
-
To seal and consolidate a terracotta terrace before applying waterproofing.
-
As a primer prior to painting interior walls with loose powder.
-
Protection of structural concrete in garages or basements against carbonation.
-
Preparation of porous surfaces in swimming pools before final coating.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIMER FOR OLD FACADES
One-component transparent primer and fixative, ideal for consolidating porous, loose, or low-cohesion surfaces such as concrete, cement, brick, screed, and other stone materials. It provides waterproofing, sealing, and excellent adhesion for subsequent finishes with water-soluble paints or waterproofing coatings.
This product acts as an anti-carbonation protection for concrete , reducing CO₂ penetration and extending the lifespan of structures. It is an effective solution for facades, roofs, terraces, swimming pools, walls, terraces, and pavements , both vertical and horizontal.
🔧 Ready to use. Easy application with a brush or roller. Does not alter the appearance of the substrate, as it dries transparent .
FIELDS OF APPLICATION OF THE TERRACE FIXER
Adhesive fixative for subsequent coating of water-soluble paints.
Priming and impregnation of stone materials, exposed brick, etc., to which it provides water repellency and impermeability.
Consolidator of construction materials in general.
Priming porous substrates for subsequent waterproofing or coating. (Concrete roofs, slabs, facades, walls, swimming pools, etc.)
This fixative is recommended as a pre-sealing layer for finishes on both vertical surfaces (facades, walls, etc.) and horizontal surfaces (pavements, roofs, terraces, rooftops, swimming pools, etc.).

PRE-TREATMENT OF SURFACES WITH TRANSPARENT PRIMER
The concrete, cement, brick, tile, etc. substrate to be treated must be solid, dry, and clean. We recommend prior cleaning, removing poorly adhered, powdery, or weak material.
APPLICATION METHOD
It is presented ready to use for the vast majority of porous substrates. On previously treated substrates that still show little cohesion, apply in two coats with a brush or roller, ensuring the substrate does not absorb any more.
Like all coatings, varnishes and paints should not be applied when the ambient temperature is below 10°C or when the RH is above 80%.
Key advantages
-
Consolidates and fixes loose dust on old supports
-
Compatible with water-based paints
-
Waterproofs without changing the color
-
Improves the adhesion and durability of finishes
-
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
