PAINT NEW WALLS
If you want to give a first coat to use as a primer, dilute the paint with approx. 20% water.
For the following coats, the paint will be diluted with between 0% and 5% water.
Give one or two coats to homogenize texture and desired coverage.
Masonry surfaces must be very dry in order to allow humidity and alkalinity levels to decrease as much as possible.
On concrete or new cements, it will be necessary to wait for its total setting (30 days approx)
PAINT ALREADY PAINTED WALLS
If the surface to be painted is in good condition, remove the dust and apply one or two coats of paint.
It is always recommended to dilute the paint with approximately one glass of water, for every 5 kilos of paint.
If the old surface is in poor condition, loose and poorly adhered surfaces should be removed and proceed as on a new surface.
If the first paint is glue, tempera, or lime, it must be removed or primed with a fixing primer.
For the preservation of a paint sample for possible touch-ups in the future, it should be kept in a closed container (for example, canned), without having been diluted with water. (Remove from the paint tube, before its dilution)
