FIELDS OF APPLICATION FOR APPLYING WATER-BASED PAINT FOR KITCHENS

It can be used as a finishing coat on primed surfaces, in machinery, installations, pipes and other
metal constructions.

This paint is suitable for painting interior walls in kitchens or spaces that suffer from stains, very washable paint.

 HOW TO USE WATER-BASED ENAMEL OR BEEHIVE PAINT

- Surfaces to be painted must be free of dust, grease and old paint.

For metals, plastics and concrete, apply a coat of primer beforehand (consult depending on the material). It can be applied directly to completely clean and degreased steel.

- Homogenize the contents of the container by stirring thoroughly.

Brush: Apply directly.
Roller: Dilute with 0-3% clean water. Use short-haired wool rollers to prevent foam formation.

Spray gun: Add clean water until the viscosity required by the equipment is achieved. Applicable in the form of supply.
Nozzle, 1.2 to 1.8 mm; Pressure, 2.5 to 4 Kgs/cm2
   
Airless spray gun: Use appropriate model, pressure ratio and nozzle.
Immersion: Add clean water until a viscosity between 20 and 35” Ford No. 4 is achieved.
Dry thicknesses will depend on the viscosity of the bath and the extraction speed.
     
The hardening speed can be increased by forced ventilation or by drying in an oven
at 50-80oC.

    
As with all paints and coatings, application must be carried out on firm, dry substrates, at a substrate temperature 3oC higher than the dew point, with an ambient temperature of no less than 10oC and a maximum RH of 80%.

Maximum hardness is reached after 15 days.

SAFETY AND HYGIENE WHEN USING BEEHIVE PAINT

Application must be carried out with a generous supply of air or with ventilation systems prepared for this purpose.
The usual personal protection elements must be used to avoid ingestion, inhalation or contact with the skin. During application, normal fire-fighting precautions must be taken.
Keep containers tightly closed after use. Do not dispose of waste down the drain.
Product is sensitive to frost, so it is recommended to store in a dry, protected place away from the elements.
Storage stability: 1 year, in its original sealed containers and in good storage conditions.

It is presented in 0.75 litre containers.
