Pliolite Paint and Pliolite Consolidant: Durability and Resistance for your old walls

What is Pliolite?

Pliolite is a type of modified acrylic resin used in the manufacture of paints and coatings. This resin, derived from butadiene and acrylonitrile, is characterized by its excellent resistance to atmospheric agents, its durability and its ability to adhere to a wide variety of surfaces, including concrete, brick, stone, metal and wood.

Characteristics of Pliolite Paint :

  1. Outstanding Durability : Pliolite paint is designed to resist fading, abrasion and the adverse effects of weather, such as rain, UV radiation and temperature fluctuations. This makes it an ideal choice for outdoors, where surfaces are exposed to harsh conditions.

  2. Excellent Adhesion : Thanks to its unique formulation, Pliolite paint adheres effectively to a variety of substrates, ensuring a long-lasting, peel-free application.

  3. Flexibility : Unlike some conventional paints, Pliolite paint is flexible, allowing it to expand and contract with changes in temperature without cracking or peeling.

  4. Fast Drying : This paint has the advantage of fast drying, allowing for an efficient application process and rapid commissioning of painted surfaces.

  5. Low Odor : Pliolite paint is often low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making it less intrusive and more environmentally friendly than some alternatives.

  6. It can be manufactured in any color tailored to the NCS chart.

Advantages and Benefits of Pliolite Consolidant :

In addition to paint, Pliolite consolidant is another featured product in the Pliolite family of products. This consolidant is mainly used in the restoration and conservation of concrete, stone and brick structures. Below are some of its most notable advantages and features:

  1. Surface Consolidation : Pliolite consolidant penetrates porous substrates and strengthens them from within, consolidating weakened structures and preventing future disintegration.

  2. Waterproofing : By sealing the pores of materials, Pliolite consolidant helps prevent moisture infiltration, reducing the risk of damage caused by moisture and water.

  3. Compatibility : This product is compatible with a wide range of building materials, making it versatile and suitable for various applications, from the restoration of historic buildings to the protection of modern structures.

  4. Ease of Application : Pliolite consolidant is usually applied by spraying or brushing, which makes it easy to apply even on surfaces that are difficult to access or irregularly shaped.

  5. Environmentally Friendly : Like Pliolite paint, many consolidants in this range are formulated with low levels of VOCs, making them safer for the environment and those who apply them.
