     What is Anti-Leak Rubber?
Anti-leak rubber is a liquid waterproofing coating made from acrylic polymers. When applied to a surface, it dries to form an elastic, water-resistant film that seals cracks and prevents leaks.
Its flexibility and durability make it an excellent choice for protecting surfaces against rain, humidity and temperature changes. It is also easy to use, as it can be applied with a roller, brush or spray gun, making it ideal as a paint to prevent leaks.
What is the purpose of roof waterproofing paint?
The main purpose of anti-drip rubber is to waterproof and protect surfaces exposed to moisture and inclement weather. This product is commonly used in:
1. Roof Waterproofing
-
Ideal for repairing flat or sloping roofs, terraces and rooftops.
-
Creates a waterproof barrier that prevents water leaks on roofs or terraces.
-
Protects materials such as tiles, zinc sheets, concrete and fibre cement.
2. Crack sealing, anti-leak sealant
-
It is excellent for covering small cracks in walls and ceilings; to repair cracks, it is recommended to use it with fiberglass.
-
Its elasticity allows the material to adapt to structural movements without cracking. It is an elastic paint for ceilings and roofs.
3. Facade Protection
-
It acts as a protective layer against moisture and wear. It waterproofs walls and facades.
-
Helps prevent the appearance of mold, mildew and moisture stains.
4. Tank Covers and Gutters

How to apply anti-leak waterproofing paint?
To ensure effective application, follow these steps:
1. Surface Preparation
-
Clean the surface to remove dust, grease, mold or any contaminants.
-
Repair deep cracks with putty or cement before applying rubber.
2. First Layer
-
Apply a coat using a brush, roller or airless.
-
Make sure to cover the entire surface evenly.
3. Second Layer
-
Once the first coat is completely dry, after approximately 5 hours, apply a second coat in a perpendicular direction to improve coverage.
4. Drying Time
-
Allow the product to dry completely for 24 hours.
Tips for Efficient Use of Anti-Leak Rubber
-
Applies in Dry ClimateAvoid applying rubber on rainy days or during high humidity, as this can affect drying time.
-
Maintain Proper ThicknessApply the layers evenly without overloading or leaving areas with little coverage. In the case of our paint, it should never exceed the weight of 1.2 kgs per litre (15 litres = 18 kilos), the greater the weight, the poorer the quality of the waterproof paint (since fillers are added).
