A two-component paint is one that is packaged separately. The paint is packaged in one container, and the hardener in the other. (You can read more about two-component paints in our blog article (TWO-COMPONENT PAINT: WHAT IT IS AND HOW TO USE IT )
Epoxy resins are the most suitable for use in any high-performance interior paint system because they have the ability to easily transform from a liquid state into a solid, durable, and hard coating.
One of the main uses of epoxy resins is for the manufacture of special products for painting pavements and interior floors.
The epoxy painting systems for floors and pavements offered meet the technical requirements necessary in the food industry WITH OUR FOOD EPOXY , (dairy, meat, wineries, slaughterhouses, cold storage, etc.), as well as in other sectors such as: health (operating rooms, laboratories, hospital facilities, etc.), pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors.
They can also be used for painting floors or pavements in the chemical and electronics industries, as well as in heavy industry. They are also suitable for parking lots, shopping centers and premises, large retail stores, offices, leisure centers, workshops, the automotive and auxiliary industries, etc. We also offer highly chemical-resistant epoxy coatings.
You can also use self-leveling two-component epoxy paint to create decorative floors, mirror effects, seamless floors, or decorative vinyl floors. Here's a link to our 3D FLOORS AND SELF-LEVELING PAINTS category.
WHEN TO PAINT A FLOOR OR PAVEMENT WITH EPOXY PAINT ?
EPOXY FLOOR PAINT should always, always be applied to interior floors.
It is a high-quality paint that can be applied to garage, warehouse, storage room, workshop, or warehouse floors with a very poor or deteriorated finish, or to new concrete floors, to obtain a smooth, colored, or non-slip surface.
Epoxy floor paint provides a finish with extremely high performance and mechanical resistance. (Passage of vehicles, machinery, etc.)
These paints allow surfaces to be repainted later.
WHEN NOT TO PAINT A FLOOR OR PAVEMENT WITH EPOXY PAINT ?
Epoxy paint should not be used when certain chemical agents, such as oils, etc., may fall on it. (Except for our epoxy paint with high chemical resistance, in this product, you can see the list of products that it resists.)
It should not be used outdoors either, since the sun's ultraviolet rays affect the color of the epoxy paint and deteriorate it.
In these two cases, it would be interesting to apply a two-component acrylic floor paint or polyurethane paint.
TYPES OF EPOXY PAINT:
- SOLVENT-BASED EPOXY

In upcoming posts, we'll break down each type of epoxy paint, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs for any given moment or occasion.
