DESCRIPTION OF THE ANTICORROSIVE PRIMER
It is a water-soluble, air-drying, single-component, non-phosphate-containing, lead- and chromate-free anticorrosive primer. Due to its fire resistance, it is classified as nonflammable according to UNE-EN 13501-1.
Ideal for protecting metal surfaces against corrosion, offering excellent adhesion and compatibility with multiple types of finishes.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION OF WATER-BASED PRIMER
It is compatible with any finishing paint, making it the ideal primer and pretreatment for all types of metal elements. It offers excellent adhesion to steel, light metals, aluminum, and galvanized steel.
Excellent repaintability with one- or two-component water-soluble finishes, as well as with one-component synthetic enamels, although in the latter case care must be taken to ensure that the applied primer film has completely evaporated the water (24 hours of air drying).
When repainting with two-component solvent-based enamels, whose volatile system is considerably more aggressive, we recommend applying them only by spraying. If brushing or rolling is essential, which are more dangerous for the integrity of the primer film, wait 48 hours or force dry for 1 hour at 80°C and apply without applying much pressure, going over the coating as little as possible.
